Our Story
Established in 2004, the Hobart Skin Cancer Clinic is dedicated to the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer and related issues. The clinic was the first of its kind in Southern Tasmania. Established by Dr. Tim Jackson, Dr. Cath Jeanneret and Dr. John Saul, the Hobart Skin Cancer Clinic remains the only pure skin cancer clinic on the Eastern Shore.
Originally located at the Lauderdale Doctors Surgery, the increased demand for skin cancer services necessitated relocation. The clinic was originally relocated to Clarence Street and then to the current location at 46a Cambridge Road, Bellerive Quay.
Dr. Jackson and Dr. Jeanneret opened the current clinic on the Bellerive waterfront in 2011. It is conveniently located beside the Eastern Shore Doctors Bellerive Surgery. Our team of skin cancer doctors are highly qualified in the field of skin cancer medicine. Our patients benefit from their expertise in skin cancer assessment and management.
A dedicated team of nursing staff work alongside the doctors providing added support and expertise during screening and assistance during procedural sessions. Three of our nurses hold qualifications in Dermoscopy and are among the most highly qualified nurses working in skin cancer medicine, in Tasmania.
Hobart Skin Cancer Clinic is a major supporter of skin cancer medicine education and training in Tasmania.
