Dr Emily Isham

Dr Emily Isham grew up in Democratic Republic of Congo. After high school in rural Victoria, she undertook her medical training at The University of Melbourne, graduating in 2007.

Since then, she moved to Tasmania with her husband, where she obtained a Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, paediatrics training, a Masters of International Public Health, and started an NGO back in the Congo.

She’s had four children over the last 10 years, and parented one through a chronic disease. Outside of work, Emily enjoys long-distance running, playing music and just being in the outdoors with her children.
